We didn’t do a stsadm export import (see previous post), but used the backup and restore commands instead. This has some consequences which I shall list here. After I had restored my backup file with command ”stsadm -o restore -url http://<destination-url> -filename backup.dat -overwrite” (the overwrite option is very important) I had to reset some settings in Central Admin:
1. Change the Site Collection Administrators (my own test farm has other accounts than the customers farm);
2. I tried a SSP backup but that didn’t work so I had to make new scopes;
3. The scopes had rules with content types so I had to mark again the option to “Allow content types to be used in scopes”;
4. Empty the end user recycle bin and/or adminstrator recycle bin;
I’m sure there were more things which I shall post when I think about it
