I noticed that in the sharepoint farm I’m working with at the moment Nintex WF 2007 is not working correctly. The Farm consists of a WFE server, an Application server and a SQL server. I have installed NWF on the WFE according to Nintex installation guide and when the site of the Central Admin opened I deployed the 2 Nintex solutions.
When I installed the license I noticed some errors like “the license is not supported on this server”. What was the problem: the requested license was made for only the WFE server (the server name is part of the license key), but the Central Admin is only installed at the Application server.
The only solution is to retract the Nintex solutions in the Central Admin, configure a Central Admin with the SharePoint Configuration Wizard at the WFE and deploy the solutions through this Central Admin.
