Found on the site Nintex Conntect.

We have identified compatibility issues between Nintex Workflow 2007 and SharePoint Service Pack 2. We are currently investigating the causes and expect to have a compatible release available shortly.  If at all possible, we recommend refraining from installing SP2 at this point to avoid the problem.

Please be aware that workflow related behavioural changes mentioned in the SP2 Release Notes will also affect Nintex Workflows.

Testing and analysis is ongoing and any important updates will be appended to this post.

Emergency workaround if you have already installed Service Pack 2:

You will notice the Workflow Designer and related application pages display a “File not found” error message.  The following steps can be used to temporarily resolve this issue:

  1. On each web server, browse to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\Template\Layouts\NintexWorkflow.
  2. Open the file called web.config in Notepad.
  3. Remove the following line: <add assembly=”Microsoft.Internal.Mime, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35″/>
  4. Save the web.config file.

If you have implemented this workaround it is advised that you upgrade to the new release as soon as possible.
