Hi adalto,

You can use the command line tool "proxycfg" to set the bypass list. Use "proxycfg /help" for all the options.

Regards,
Marc

Marc,

Thanks for the follow-up post. The original problem reoccurred and I wasn't sure how it could have happened, but then I checked your other post and found it in the Advanced Settings...

Thanks again.

Thats correct Richard. Fortunately I only used this script in test environments :-)
I also use the BackConnectionsHostNames in production farms but did not know at that moment the correct PS command to put that in a regkey.
Thanks for your code example.

But be aware that my scripts might not be working for SP2010 RTM. I made the scripts for BETA2

Instead of using the DisableLoopbackCheck (which is a security issue) why not use the multistring value instead?

[string[]]$hostHeaders = "www.google.com.au","www.bing.com.au"
New-ItemProperty -Path HKLM:\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\MSV1_0 -Name BackConnectionHostNames -PropertyType MultiString -Value $hostHeaders

I save this in ps1 file and update as needed
