The Microsoft SharePoint Team Blog has announced the availability of the first version of the SharePoint 2010 Administration Toolkit.
It will consist of the following tools:
User Profile Replication Engine 2010
The Security Configuration (SCW) Manifest
The Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) Connector
The Load Testing Kit (LTK)

Today I did some consultancy work at a customer site. They had renamed the title site column at the root level in the item content type. They were complaining that it appeared everywhere on all sites and in all lists. I changed the name with a tool called SharePoint Manager 2007. See screenshots below.
